And, speaking of recorded history, the soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever reached No. 1 in the US on this date, a spot it held for 24 weeks. It won the Grammy for album of the year, the only disco album to do so and only the second soundtrack in history to claim that award ( The Bodyguard is, inexplicably, the other). This is the 11-minute-long final track to the album. There is also a shorter radio edit.
